The Proffie 2.2 electronics are made for real lightsaber enthusiasts to experience the possibility of customising everything, starting from sound fonts and ending with ignitions and blade colours!
The Neopixel blade delivers a vibrant and dynamic display, with colours adjustable to match personal preferences. Additional features include smooth swing technology for realistic sound modulation, flash-on-clash effects to simulate combat impacts, multiple ignition modes, and gesture controls for intuitive operation. A rechargeable lithium-ion battery ensures prolonged use, and the inclusion of a 32GB SD card allows for the addition of new sound fonts and effects, further enhancing the saber’s versatility.
History
The Ronin Lightsaber draws inspiration from the character known as the Ronin, a former Sith who wandered the galaxy in the aftermath of a rebellion. His weapon was distinctive, featuring a design reminiscent of a katana, complete with a scabbard—a rarity among lightsabers. This design choice reflects the Ronin’s unique blend of samurai tradition and Sith influence.
Unlike traditional lightsabers, the Ronin’s weapon was broken and could not be retracted, necessitating the use of a specially shielded scabbard. This unique feature, along with its samurai-inspired aesthetics, has made the Ronin Lightsaber a symbol of the fusion between ancient warrior ethos and futuristic technology, appealing to collectors and enthusiasts alike.
