Born on Talravin and given to the Jedi Order as a child, Bastila Shan showed an aptitude for the Force that few of her generation could match. Where other Padawans mastered the fundamentals, she pressed further — drawn instinctively toward Battle Meditation, a technique so rare that the Order itself had almost forgotten it.
That promise broke during the Jedi Civil War. Captured, turned by Malak's hand, she spent time on the wrong side of the Force — serving the very darkness she had trained to oppose. The fall was not clean, and neither was the return. Bastila Shan fought her way back not through certainty but through choice, again and again, against the pull of a power that had never felt entirely foreign.
What remained after the return was something harder to name than redemption. Bastila Shan carried the weight of both sides — the discipline of the Order and the memory of the dark.
