Trained under the controversial Count Dooku, Qui-Gon Jinn walked a line few Jedi dared approach — loyal to the living Force above all else, sceptical of doctrine, and quietly certain the Council was not always right. He was a master before most had shed their Padawan braid, and that independence marked everything he did.
On Tatooine, he saw something the Council refused to: a boy so Force-sensitive the numbers defied precedent, and a prophecy that demanded action. Qui-Gon pushed for Anakin Skywalker's training against every institutional instinct telling him no. That conviction — stubborn, clear-eyed, ultimately costly — set the Skywalker story in motion.
He fell in that duel, but what he set in motion outlasted him. Obi-Wan fulfilled the promise. Anakin walked the path. The designs in the Fall of the Jedi collection carry the hilt he brought to Naboo — the last weapon of a Jedi who trusted the Force completely, even at the end.
