Discovered as an infant by a Jedi seeker, Cere Junda grew up within the Jedi Temple on Coruscant — one of countless Force-sensitive children brought into the Order's care, and yet far from ordinary. She travelled to Ilum for the Gathering, built her lightsaber under the distant guidance of Yoda, and was taken as Padawan by the celebrated Jedi Master Eno Cordova.
Order 66 shattered that path completely. Captured alongside her Padawan Trilla Suduri and tortured by the Empire, Junda watched Trilla break — fall to the dark side and be remade into an Inquisitor. Junda escaped. Trilla did not. The guilt was unbearable, so Junda did the only thing that silenced it: she severed her own connection to the Force.
Reconnecting with the Force aboard the Mantis, she dedicated herself to rebuilding what the Purge had nearly erased — mentoring Cal Kestis through the events of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order and pressing on into Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, forming the Hidden Path network and establishing a Jedi cache on Jedha. The three designs held in the Reign of the Empire era trace exactly that arc: survival, mentorship, and a final stand she chose to make.
She chose to keep fighting — and that choice cost her everything, and defined her completely.
