The Child Who Chose His Own Path
Born around 41 BBY and raised within the Jedi Temple on Coruscant, Grogu was a Jedi Initiate of a species so rare it had no recorded name — the same ancient lineage as Grand Master Yoda. Extraordinarily slow to age, he remained small and infant-like while the galaxy turned around him, yet the Force ran through him with a depth that set him apart from the very beginning.
Everything changed when Din Djarin pulled him from an Imperial safe house. No longer a captive of the remnant, no longer a Jedi Initiate waiting on an order that no longer existed — Grogu became a foundling of Clan Mudhorn, bound not by tradition but by the loyalty of a single Mandalorian who had no particular reason to care, and did anyway.
From there, his path wound through a brief, decisive chapter with Luke Skywalker — training at a Jedi academy, then a choice between Yoda's lightsaber and the armour of a Mandalorian. He chose Djarin. That choice carried forward through the Liberation of Mandalore and into the events of The Mandalorian and Grogu, where Din Grogu fights alongside the man who became his father.
A foundling twice over — first of the Force, then of Clan Mudhorn.
