One Santari Khri design from one era
Scientist, Keeper of Secrets, Reluctant Judge
During the High Republic Era, Santari Khri stood apart from her fellow Jedi not through combat renown but through scientific rigour. A Jedi Master and head scientist of a Jedi-Republic collaboration, she established a laboratory in the Forest Array on Koboh and led the effort to understand Koboh matter and the treacherous Koboh Abyss — research few in the Order were equipped to pursue.
That friendship became her defining trial. When Dagan Gera's devotion to Tanalorr curdled into obsession — and he moved to take her last compass by force — Khri fought him, severed his arm, and then refused to let the Council finish what she had started. She placed him in a bacta tank, kept her mercy hidden, and left him a holomessage: a choice, not a sentence.
Centuries later, her records surfaced again. In 9 BBY, Cal Kestis uncovered Khri's laboratories and the compasses she had built, following the trail she had deliberately left — including the droid Zee, whom she had charged with safeguarding the route to Tanalorr before fleeing Koboh. She never met Kestis. Her influence shaped his journey all the same. The one design on this page is drawn from that era.
Her compassion outlasted her secrecy — and a Jedi Knight centuries later inherited both.
