RGB-X
RGB-X is the same baselit construction as S-RGB — light in the hilt, a hollow blade, and the heavy-duelling rating that comes with it. The difference is the sound library: 16 stock fonts against 10.
"One step up" is about sound, not price. The cheapest complete RGB-X saber is $99.99, below the cheapest S-RGB at $119.99, because the price follows the hilt design rather than the core. With 238 complete sabers, it is also the widest baselit range we carry.
The costs are the ones S-RGB carries. No smooth swing, nothing to program, and a blade that lights from the base rather than along its length. If you want more sounds and the tougher blade, those are trades you're already willing to make.

For duelling. Rated for heavy contact, and where prices start. The trade: the blade lights from the hilt, with no ignition or strike effects along it.
You’re looking at: RGB-XFor the film look. The blade itself lights — climbing ignition, flares where it’s struck. The trade: rated for light duelling.
For writing your own effects. The same pixel blade with the firmware opened up. The trade: the editing is yours to do.
