Privacy Policy
Last updated 9 October 2026.
This policy explains what personal information we collect when you shop with ARTSABERS or use this site, why, who we share it with, how long we keep it, and your rights. We are the controller of your information.
In short
- We use your details to take, deliver and support your orders, and to run your account.
- Your order ships direct from the factory, so the factory and its couriers receive your name and delivery address.
- We only send marketing emails if you have asked for them, and every one has an unsubscribe link.
- We never sell your information. We share it only with the services that help us run the shop.
- You can ask to see, correct or delete it at any time.
Who We Are
ARTSABERS is a trading name of Campbell Saber Co Ltd. Registered in England and Wales, company number 16016828. Registered office: Unit 15 Beauchamp Business Centre, Sparrowhawk Close, Malvern, WR14 1GL.For anything about your information, email shopping@artsabers.com or use our contact page.
What We Collect
- When you order: your name, delivery and billing addresses, email address, phone number, what you ordered and how you paid. Card details are taken by Stripe, and PayPal payments are made on PayPal; we never see your full card details.
- Your account: every order creates or joins an account in your email address, holding your order history and saved addresses.
- When you contact us: your name, email, any order number, and what you tell us.
- Reviews: if you review a product, your name and review are shown on the site.
- Newsletter: your email address, if you sign up.
- Using the site: what is in your basket, what you search for, the country your connection comes from (so we can show prices in your currency), and — only if you allow it in your cookie choices — how you use the site and how you found us.
Why We Use It, and Our Lawful Basis
- To take, deliver and support your order, including returns, faults and warranty claims — necessary to perform our contract with you.
- To run your account — necessary to perform our contract with you.
- To keep records for tax and accounting — a legal obligation.
- To prevent fraud and keep the site secure — our legitimate interests, and yours.
- To show prices in your currency — our legitimate interests in showing you a price you can read.
- To answer your questions — our legitimate interests in helping you.
- To credit a partner who referred you — our legitimate interests in paying the people who send us customers.
- To send marketing emails — your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
- To understand how the site is used and to advertise — your consent, through your cookie choices.
Who We Share It With
We share only what each needs to do its job, and each is bound to protect it:
- Stripe — card and wallet payments, and fraud checks.
- PayPal — if you choose to pay with PayPal.
- Our factory and suppliers — your order is made up and shipped direct, so they receive your name, delivery address, phone number and what you ordered.
- Couriers — your name, address and contact details, to deliver your parcel and send you tracking.
- Brevo — sends our newsletter, if you subscribe.
- Google — Google Analytics and Google Ads, if you allow them in your cookie choices, to measure visits and the adverts that brought them.
- Our affiliate partners — if you arrive through a partner’s link, we record the referral so we can pay them commission. They see that a sale was made, not your details.
- Our website hosting and IT providers — who run the servers the site is on.
- Authorities — where the law requires it, such as HMRC or the police.
Our factory and suppliers are outside the UK, and some of the services above process information outside the UK. Where they do, we make sure it is protected by UK-approved safeguards, such as the International Data Transfer Agreement or an adequacy decision.
Cookies
Some cookies are needed for the shop to work — your basket, your login, your currency, and the payment providers’ fraud checks — and are always on. Analytics, advertising and affiliate-referral cookies are set only if you allow them, and you can change your choice at any time from the cookie settings link at the foot of every page. Our Cookie Policy lists every cookie.
How Long We Keep It
- Orders and invoices: 6 years after the end of the financial year they fall in, as tax law requires.
- Your account: while it is open; you can ask us to close it at any time, and we keep only what the law requires.
- Messages to us: up to 2 years after we last hear from you.
- Marketing: until you unsubscribe; we then keep your email on a do-not-contact list so we never email you again.
- Cookie choices: the record of your choice for 12 months.
Your Rights
You have the right to:
- see the information we hold about you, and have a copy;
- have it corrected if it is wrong;
- have it deleted, unless we must keep it by law;
- restrict or object to how we use it, including objecting to marketing at any time;
- have it transferred to you or another company, where you gave it to us;
- withdraw your consent, where we rely on it — this does not affect what we did before.
To use any of these, email shopping@artsabers.com. We reply within one month. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk, or to the data protection authority where you live — but please talk to us first.
Keeping It Safe
The site runs over an encrypted connection, payments are handled by Stripe and PayPal, and access to your information is limited to the people and services who need it.
Children
The shop is for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
